We are working in partnership with one of Malta's premier companies, who are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Executive to manage and optimize stores operations and inventory control, ensuring uninterrupted support to production. What's expected of you?
- Oversee daily stores operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch of materials.
- Ensure accurate stock transactions in the ERP/MRP system, including GRNs, stock counts, and batch tracking.
- Plan and manage raw and packaging material requirements to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Monitor material usage, shelf life, returns, and write-offs.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, Health & Safety standards, and housekeeping requirements.
- Liaise with Production, Quality, Finance, Purchasing, and suppliers to maintain smooth operational flow.
- Lead, coach, and develop stores staff, assigning tasks, managing performance, promoting multi-skilling, and driving continuous improvement.
- Act in a supervisory capacity in the absence of the Stores/Procurement Manager.
- Identify and report stock risks or operational issues to management.
What are you expected to bring?
- Relevant qualification at MQF Level 5/6 in a related field such as Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations.
- Proven experience in inventory or stores management.
- Strong ERP/MRP system knowledge.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail.
