IT Sales Executive - Malta

Are you a tech-savvy sales professional? One of our top clients is looking for an IT Sales Executive to sell technology products and services, identify client needs, present solutions, and close deals. You’ll also prospect new clients, and provide post-sales support, while staying updated on industry trends to deliver the best solutions.

 

What is expected of you?

  • Prospecting and lead generation by identifying potential clients and creating new opportunities through research and networking
  • Analyzing client needs to understand their specific IT requirements and challenges, and recommend suitable solutions
  • Negotiating prices, contracts, and service agreements to successfully close sales
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients through effective communication and post-sales support
  • Monitoring and reporting on sales performance against targets and maintaining accurate client information
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest IT products, services, industry trends, and competitor activities
  • Acting as a consultant to advise customers on the best hardware, software, or cloud-based solutions
  • Preparing and presenting detailed technical proposals and quotations
  • Handling customer inquiries and resolving any post-sale issues
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction
  • Managing the sales pipeline and updating client records in a CRM
  • For senior roles, a manager may be responsible for leading and mentoring a sales team, setting sales projections, and implementing sales strategies to expand market share

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Maltese
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office tools – Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint
  • Proactive mindset, ready to take ownership, ask the right questions, and deliver results
  • Previous experience in B2B sales
  • Strong ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Excellent networking and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for IT and related products
