IT Support Engineer - Malta

Do you have the skills and drive to keep IT operations seamless and reliable? Join our team as an IT Support Engineer and play a key role in maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure.

What is expected from you:

• Maintain existing IT systems and provide support to all users across the corporate group.

• Accurately manage IT assets, including procurement, tagging of hardware, and coordination with third parties.
• Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Assist staff and clients, face-to-face or remotely, with system setup and issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.
• Replace hardware components as required.
• Provide user support with clear documentation and reports.
• Support the roll-out of new applications.
• Manage onboarding and off-boarding of users.
• Work on reported issues until completion (or escalate to third parties when necessary).
• Coordinate with the team leader for timely issue resolution.
• Build strong working relationships with users, IT engineers, managers, developers, and HR.
• Perform routine maintenance on IT infrastructure.

What you are expected to bring:

• Minimum 1+ year of experience working in an IT environment.
• Knowledge and experience with:
• Windows Servers 2016, 2019, and 2022
• Windows 10 and 11
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Office 365 Cloud Services
• Technical know-how on enterprise IT equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to create a positive support environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ideally, a qualification or diploma in IT.
• Fluency in English.
