Junior Accounts Executives - Malta

What's expected of you? 

• Process and post supplier invoices accurately within the accounting system. 

• Reconcile supplier statements and assist in resolving any discrepancies. 

• Record bank transactions, payments, and deposits in a timely manner. 

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. 

• Manage petty cash records, balances, and replenishment processes. 

• Maintain organised financial records and accounting documentation. 

• Support the preparation of financial reports and month-end activities. 

• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams regarding payment and invoice queries. 

• Provide general accounting and administrative support to the Accounts Manager. 

What are you expected to bring? 

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems. 

• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. 

• Well-organised with good time management skills. 

• Strong numerical and problem-solving abilities. 

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. 

• Previous experience in an accounting, finance, or bookkeeping role is considered an advantage. 

• Exposure to accounts payable and bank reconciliation processes would be beneficial.
