Looking to take the next step in your finance career? We’re seeking a detail-oriented Junior Revenue and Accounts Analyst to support the Finance team through revenue analysis, financial reconciliations, accounting processes, and the timely preparation of financial reports. This role will play an important part in maintaining accurate financial records, identifying revenue trends and variances, and supporting the overall financial integrity of the business.
What's expected of you?
- Prepare and maintain accurate weekly and monthly revenue reports
- Review revenue performance, identify trends, and investigate significant variances
- Monitor and reconcile electronic payments, card transactions, online sales, and other revenue streams
- Ensure revenue is accurately reconciled between operational and accounting systems
- Assist with revenue assurance activities by identifying discrepancies, anomalies, and potential revenue losses
- Collaborate with internal departments to enhance revenue reporting processes and improve data accuracy
- Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting principles and procedures
- Perform regular bank, revenue, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain and update fixed asset records and support the preparation of depreciation schedules
- Provide support during month-end and year-end financial closing processes
What are you expected to bring?

A Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline

At least 2 years’ experience in a similar finance or accounting position

Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy

Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and variances

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
