Learning and Development Manager - Malta

Ready to lead learning, development, and organisational growth within a dynamic and evolving business environment?
We’re seeking a proactive and strategic Learning & Development Manager to drive the company’s training and development initiatives across the organisation. You’ll play a key role in identifying training needs, developing structured learning plans, ensuring legislative and ISO compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

What is expected of you?
  • Identify training needs and develop learning initiatives aligned with business goals and employee development
  • Create and manage the Annual Training Plan across technical, compliance, health & safety, IT, and personal development areas
  • Coordinate training providers, schedules, logistics, attendance, and evaluation processes
  • Monitor training effectiveness using performance data and feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, ISO, Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards
  • Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and reporting within the HR system
  • Prepare training analytics and provide insights and recommendations to management
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and organisational excellence
What are you expected to bring?
  • A Master’s Degree (MQF Level 7) and experience in Learning & Development, Training, or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of training methodologies, competency development, compliance, and ISO standards
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and business acumen
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR/training management systems, with excellent English communication skills
  • Knowledge of psychometric assessments and training facilitation techniques will be considered an asset
