What is expected of you?
- Draft and review commercial agreements, service agreements, and NDAs
- Support negotiations with international clients, suppliers, and business partners
- Provide legal and compliance support to management and operational teams
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal summaries and documentation
- Coordinate with external legal advisors and stakeholders
- Support and improve contract management and documentation processes
- Assist with regulatory compliance requirements and internal compliance procedures
- Manage and maintain KYC/KYB processes and due diligence documentation
- Maintain corporate records and compliance documentation
- Monitor regulatory and legislative developments relevant to the business
- Support accreditation and certification frameworks across the organisation
- Prepare and coordinate external audits and compliance reviews
- Maintain audit trails, accreditation documentation, and compliance records
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance standards are maintained
- Support frameworks relating to ISO certifications and MLC (Maritime Labour Convention) compliance
What are you expected to bring?
- Maltese or international legal practicing warrant would be considered an asset
- Approximately 2–5 years of professional experience within legal, compliance, contracts, or regulatory environments
- Experience working with commercial contracts and legal documentation
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Interest in compliance, corporate governance, and accreditation frameworks
- Professional, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
