Our client, a well-established company in Malta, is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their maintenance team and support the efficient running of operations through effective troubleshooting, repairs, and technical leadership.
What is expected of you?

Carry out electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on plant equipment and machinery

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities to minimise downtime

Troubleshoot machinery issues during production processes and implement effective solutions

Support the maintenance and operation of refrigeration, HVAC, and LPG systems
-
Lead and coordinate maintenance team activities to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
-
Assist department management with maintenance planning, scheduling, and operational requirements
-
Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and company procedures

Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency

Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the maintenance function
What are you expected to bring?

Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems, Maintenance, or a related field

Proven experience in electrical fault finding and repair of industrial plant and machinery

Working knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, and LPG systems

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently

Previous experience in a maintenance environment within manufacturing, production, or industrial operations

Ability to lead a team and support departmental management when required

Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures and protocols

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
