We are seeking a motivated individual to join a leading company in Malta as an Operator (PET Plant). In this role, you'll manage and maintain plant machinery, ensuring operations meet high-quality and efficiency standards. What's expected of you?
- Operate machinery and manage processes within the PET section, ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Complete relevant forms as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of machinery and plant according to the SOP
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues, and support technical maintenance tasks, including periodic machinery overhauls
- Conduct product quality tests as outlined in SOP guidelines, ensuring operational standards are met
What are you expected to bring?
- Strong communication skills, with proficiency in reading and writing both English and Maltese
- O-Level certification
- Computer literacy with an ECDL certification
- Knowledge in the mechanical and/or electrical field
- Flexibility to learn new machinery as required by the company
- Willingness to work on a roster basis, including night shifts
