Are you a detailed orientated payroll officer? One of our top clients is seeking an HR Officer – Payroll to join their dynamic HR team. Reporting to the HR Systems Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, while upholding the highest standards of compliance, confidentiality, and operational efficiency.
What's expected of you?
- Administer payroll for entities within the Company, including salaries, wages, pensions, overtime, and allowances
- Coordinate employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, terminations, leave management, and absence tracking
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR and payroll records, ensuring full compliance with GDPR and employment legislation
- Prepare HR reports and payroll data for management to support informed decision-making and KPI monitoring
- Manage Time & Attendance systems and provide ongoing support to departments
- Assist with end-of-year processes, payroll audits, and coordination with outsourced service providers
- Provide support across other HR functions as required
What are you expected to bring?
- A minimum Diploma in Human Resources (or equivalent), with education to A-Level standard
- Proven payroll experience, preferably within an HR setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Maltese
- Strong organisational abilities with effective interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of ICT proficiency with strong attention to detail
