One of our top clients is seeking a dedicated and committed People and Culture Manager to drive engagement, retention, and the overall governance of People processes across a diverse workforce. In this pivotal role, you will help strengthen organisational culture, elevate the employee experience, and ensure consistency across all People-related activities.
What is expected of you?
- Drive initiatives that strengthen motivation, teamwork, and organisational culture, including communications, events, and cultural integration activities
- Monitor retention and turnover trends, implement initiatives to reduce attrition, and lead the Employee Support Programme
- Oversee the full onboarding journey to ensure smooth relocation, induction, training, and integration, while clearly communicating expectations and standards
- Manage performance reviews, identify talent and future leaders, and support learning and development planning across key roles
- Handle employee relations matters, disciplinary processes, investigations, and ensure compliance with Maltese employment law and company policies
- Maintain accurate records for audits, introduce structured governance across HR processes, and prepare monthly reports on key people metrics
- Work closely with Payroll and Operations to ensure aligned and efficient HR operations, and support improvements to HR systems and procedures
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and professionalism, with the capacity to support multicultural teams and work under pressure with minimal supervision
What are you expected to bring?
- At least two years of experience in a People & Culture or HR management position
- Experience working within a multicultural environment or managing high-volume employee groups is a strong advantage
- Solid understanding of HR processes, engagement initiatives, and compliance requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with HR information systems is considered an asset
- Candidates should be based in Malta or the EU, with a driving licence preferred
- Knowledge of the work permit process for Third Country Nationals (TCNs) will be considered an advantage
