What is expected of you?

Guide leadership on Central Bank directives, security features, and polymer strategy.

Shape strategic planning, governance, and operational discipline.

Deliver operational targets through smart planning and active performance control.

Build robust cost-capture systems, inventory forecasts, and product cost models.

Strengthen collaboration with central technical teams and ensure seamless knowledge transfer.

Drive Lean/5S initiatives, update SOPs/FMEAs, and manage SSQCDP on the shop floor.

Safeguard Bank of England compliance across platemaking.

Provide prepress materials and production planning for Group and client needs.

Grow team capability through training, succession planning, and flexible workforce models.

Align resources and technology investment with long-term production demands and improvement insights
What are you expected to bring

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a science discipline with strong technical aptitude and analytical skills.

High attention to detail with solid quality assurance and problem-solving capability.

Solid people-management experience in planning or production settings

Continuous improvement and lean manufacturing expertise

Strong technical writing and presentation skills; security print experience is an asset.
