Ceektalent is recruiting for our client a Process Technician to transform raw materials into quality products. You will operate equipment, monitor processes, and ensure efficiency. The role also requires maintaining strict food safety and quality standards.
What is expected of you?
- Operate and supervise intake and processing equipment (including pasteurization, homogenization, and separation) to meet daily production targets
- Ensure all raw materials are processed according to product specifications and required standards
- Monitor and adjust process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates for optimal performance
- Conduct routine quality checks and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Report equipment issues and submit maintenance requests as needed
- Maintain high hygiene standards to ensure a clean, sanitized, and contamination-free environment
- Identify and investigate waste sources, determine root causes, and recommend improvements
- Manage raw materials and ingredient inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles
- Apply 5S practices to maintain an organized and efficient workspace
- Collect and analyze production and process data to support continuous improvement
- Handle raw materials safely using appropriate material handling equipment
- Follow all health and safety regulations, reporting any risks or unsafe practices
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations
- Participate in training sessions, both attending and contributing where required
- Carry out any additional tasks assigned by supervisors
What are you expected to bring?
- MQF Level 4 qualification and/or relevant experience in a similar role is considered an asset
- Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is advantageous
- Good knowledge of production processes, equipment setup, and basic troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining quality standards
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly
- Clear communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Strong commitment to health and safety practices
- Competent in using computers, particularly Microsoft Office applications
