We're on the lookout for a dynamic Product Manager to lead the product categories of one of our top clients! In this role, you'll be at the heart of strategy shaping the product mix, tracking market trends, and collaborating closely with suppliers to bring in fresh, in-demand products while retiring outdated ones. From promotional planning to shelf positioning, you’ll drive initiatives that boost customer satisfaction and maximise margins.
What's expected of you?
- Market behavioral research and analysis of competitor outlets to gather shopper insights
- Maintain and improve item group margins by managing product criteria and selection
- Oversee product assortments and delist underperformers to boost revenue
- Ensure optimal product fit across outlets through regular category reviews
- Coordinate product updates and changes with the data team
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and other teams on key initiatives
- Plan and manage product promotions, including scheduling and stock coordination
- Support other tasks as assigned by the CCO
What are you expected to bring?
- 3+ years of experience in product/category management, preferably within FMCG
- Strong background in retail, trade marketing, or consumer insights
- Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple product lines and meet deadlines under pressure
- Comfortable with market visits and fieldwork to gather insights
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Valid driving license
- Solid understanding of FMCG market trends, consumer behavior, and retail dynamics
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Creative thinking with a commercial mindset
