Property Developer - Malta

Are you an experienced Property Developer able to drive the growth and execution of a diversified development portfolio? The role combines strategic oversight from feasibility to completion, with full accountability for financial performance, risk management, and value creation across multiple projects.  

What is expected of you? 

• Provide strategic leadership across the development platform, setting short- and long-term objectives, guiding market assessment, defining asset-class focus, and establishing effective governance frameworks. 

• Lead the full real estate development lifecycle, from opportunity origination and due diligence through land acquisition, design oversight, approvals, construction delivery, and asset handover. 

• Assume full financial accountability, including business planning, budgeting, P&L oversight, capital and operating expenditure control, cash-flow management, and delivery of return targets. 

• Build, lead, and performance-manage multidisciplinary development teams, fostering a high-performance and accountable culture. 

• Manage complex stakeholder relationships with investors, financing partners, public authorities, advisors, and external consultants. 

• Establish and oversee robust risk management and compliance frameworks, ensuring adherence to regulatory, environmental, and health and safety standards. 

• Drive growth through origination and execution of development and investment opportunities, including negotiation and structuring of partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions. 

• Oversee portfolio positioning and investor-facing communications, ensuring a sustainable pipeline of high-quality development opportunities. 

• Implement scalable operational processes, reporting tools, and performance dashboards to support disciplined execution, cost control, and quality assurance. 

What are you expected to bring? 

• Proven experience in real estate development, construction, or property investment, Malta planning regulations with a strong track record of delivering projects from feasibility through to completion. 

• Experience in startup and early-stage environments, with the ability to build platforms, processes, and teams from the ground up. 

• Strong understanding of development economics, including CAPEX, OPEX and ROI, feasibility analysis, financial modelling, and value creation across the project lifecycle. 

• In-depth knowledge of entitlements, zoning, planning approvals, and permitting processes. 

• Demonstrated expertise in procurement strategies, contract management, and risk mitigation. 

• Solid familiarity with local regulations, market dynamics, and stakeholder landscapes relevant to real estate development.
