You’ll play a key role in managing procurement and logistics, ensuring optimal stock levels, timely deliveries, and cost-effective operations
What's expected of you?
- Monitor inventory levels and review sales data to accurately forecast purchasing requirements
- Raise and manage purchase orders with suppliers, ensuring all details are correct and well communicated
- Keep stock levels balanced by avoiding both shortages and excess inventory
- Organise and oversee shipments, choosing the most efficient and cost-effective transport methods
- Follow up on orders and keep internal teams informed on delivery schedules
- Manage product costing and handle all related internal and external communications
- Oversee customs clearance and coordinate with forwarders to ensure timely delivery of goods
What are you expected to bring?
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Previous experience in a similar purchasing or shipping role is considered an asset
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general MS Office applications
