Are you an organised professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for procurement? Our client is seeking a Purchasing Executive to join their Supply Chain team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with purchasing or procurement experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring the smooth delivery of procurement operations.
What is expected of you?
• Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Purchase Orders (POs) in line with company procedures
• Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, order confirmations, and delivery schedules
• Monitor open purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries
• Maintain supplier information and support supplier performance tracking
• Enter and update procurement data within the ERP system and maintain accurate digital records
• Support internal departments with procurement-related queries, product availability, and supplier lead times
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and audit requirements while reporting any discrepancies
What are you expected to bring?
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a purchasing, procurement, or administrative role
• An MQF Level 4 qualification in Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field
• Good understanding of purchasing processes, supplier coordination, and procurement documentation
• Experience using ERP or procurement software would be considered an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively, and meet deadlines
