We are seeking a reliable and organised Purchasing Manager to join our hospitality operation on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing supplies essential to daily hotel/restaurant operations.
What's expected of you?
- Purchase food, beverage, operating supplies, and equipment
- Source and negotiate with local and international suppliers
- Ensure timely delivery and availability of goods
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores and departments
- Maintain purchasing records and supplier documentation
- Control costs and follow company purchasing procedures
- Liaise with Finance regarding invoices and payments
What are you expected to bring?
- Previous experience in purchasing, preferably within hospitality
- Knowledge of food & beverage products and operating supplies
- Strong organisational and negotiation skills
- Good communication and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
