What’s expected of you?
- Mentoring junior auditors by providing constructive feedback and reviewing their work to ensure quality and consistency
- Executing smaller audit assignments independently, with minimal oversight
- Collaborating with Audit Managers in planning audit engagements across diverse industries and varying client sizes
- Coordinating with clients to facilitate audit preparations and document collection, while maintaining strong client relationships and promoting satisfaction
- Drafting financial statements and related reporting documents in accordance with applicable standards
- Effectively using audit software and staying up to date with relevant firm tools to meet engagement goals and deliver high-quality service
- Supporting Audit Managers in verifying accuracy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and upholding statutory obligations
- Participating in ad hoc meetings with clients, Audit Managers, team members, and Directors to align on audit objectives and progress
- Performing or assisting with additional responsibilities relevant to the Senior Auditor role and its core competencies
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of the firm’s service offerings and proactively identifying opportunities to apply and recommend suitable services
What are you expected to bring?
- Possession of a completed and recognized accounting qualification, such as ACCA, or a relevant university degree in accounting or finance
- At least 2 years of professional experience in auditing, ideally within a reputable audit or accounting firm
- Strong knowledge of GAPSME and IFRS reporting standards, with a solid understanding of International Auditing Standards being highly desirable
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- A proactive attitude towards continuous learning and professional development across a variety of industry sectors
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- A team-oriented communicator and active listener who thrives in a diverse, multinational professional environment
