What is expected of you?

Lead and support the Due Diligence Team, ensuring onboarding and ongoing reviews are delivered efficiently, consistently, and in line with regulatory and internal standards

Oversee and conduct standard and enhanced due diligence on licence applicants, Ultimate Beneficial Owners, qualifying shareholders, directors, and key persons

Guide and quality-assure Source of Wealth and Source of Funds assessments, ensuring conclusions are proportionate, well-reasoned, and fully supported

Review screening results, assess risks and red flags, and provide clear, risk-based recommendations

Prepare and sign off detailed due diligence reports outlining findings and recommendations from onboarding and ongoing monitoring activities

Oversee periodic reviews of existing licensees, including adverse media and changes in risk profiles

Present key findings and recommendations to internal committees to support informed decision-making

Coach and mentor team members, maintaining high analytical and documentation standards

Identify and implement improvements to due diligence and monitoring processes

Provide regular updates to senior management on team performance, workload, and emerging risks
What are you expected to bring?

Bachelor’s degree (MQF Level 6 or equivalent) in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Candidates with a Diploma (MQF Level 5) and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience will also be considered

Proven experience in due diligence, AML/CFT, compliance, or regulatory roles, with strong expertise in Source of Wealth and Source of Funds assessments

Sound knowledge of Fit & Proper evaluations, adverse media checks, and sanctions/list screening

Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience is considered an asset

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex corporate structures and financial backgrounds

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clear, structured, and well-supported recommendations
