We are supporting a leading organisation in the iGaming industry seeking a Senior Executive – Internal Audit to join their Internal Audit function. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional who enjoys leading engagements, mentoring junior team members, and working closely with senior management to deliver high-quality audit outcomes.
What is expected of you?
- Lead multiple complex and high-risk internal audit engagements from planning through to reporting, in line with approved audit methodologies
- Perform detailed risk assessments, defining engagement scope, objectives, and evaluation criteria
- Develop and execute audit work programmes, ensuring sufficient and reliable audit evidence is obtained
- Analyse findings, identify root causes, and assess risk significance and potential impact
- Draft clear, high-quality internal audit reports with practical and value-adding recommendations
- Build and manage professional relationships with senior and executive management
- Coach, mentor, and provide guidance to junior team members
- Identify themes, trends, and systemic risks across engagements and escalate where required
- Ensure adherence to internal audit standards, independence requirements, and confidentiality protocols
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies, tools, and practices
What are you expected to bring?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MQF Level 6 or equivalent)
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Internal Audit or a similar role
- Experience leading audit engagements and mentoring team members will be considered a strong asset
- Professional certification such as CIA, ACCA, or equivalent is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards, risk management, and internal control frameworks
- Excellent analytical thinking, judgment, and report writing skills
- Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and handle complex issues
