What is expected of you?
- Prepare monthly accruals and prepayments as part of the accounting process
- Record and process journal entries
- Support month-end closing procedures
- Serve as a point of contact for Finance Executives, addressing issues and escalating when necessary
- Coordinate tasks to meet deadlines as required
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the system
- Verify adherence to procedures before inputting information
- Evaluate internal accounting procedures, policies, and controls, suggesting improvements as needed
- Assist the finance department and accounting staff with various tasks
- Act as a backup for specific responsibilities, researching, tracking, and resolving accounting or documentation issues or referring them appropriately
- Liaise with other departments to exchange information and correct transactions
- Perform other duties as assigned by the CFO or any person designated by him
- Adhere to all company policies and protocols
What are you expected to bring?
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar environment
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Exceptionally organized with a track record of achieving targets
- Ability to drive change, take initiative, and fulfill necessary tasks
- Be a team player, capable of monitoring team performance and delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines
- Have strong leadership qualities and a commitment to continuous learning
