Our client, a well established financial services organisation, is currently seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of fund administration services.
What is expected of you?
- Oversee and prepare Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Address client queries promptly and professionally, particularly those related to NAV calculations.
- Coordinate effectively with external service providers, including investment managers, auditors, custodians, and payment banks.
- Support the year end audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Prepare comprehensive annual financial statements for various funds.
- Manage the processing of payments and transfers related to fund expenses.
- Act as a key point of contact for auditors, facilitating smooth audit procedures.
- Contribute to maintaining high levels of client satisfaction through diligent service delivery.
- Provide training, assistance, and support to junior Fund Accountants within the team.
What are you expected to bring?
- Hold a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA, or be in the final stages of completion.
- Possess a minimum of three years’ experience in a fund accounting role, ideally within a fund administration or asset management setting.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of various financial instruments and fund structures.
- Be proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Exhibit excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Show strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of liaising with diverse stakeholders.
- Be able to work effectively both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Possess knowledge of Bloomberg terminal functionality.
