Ceek Talens is on the lookout for an experienced Senior Policy Analyst to join our client’s team and lead policy development projects, coordinate stakeholder engagement, and ensure that regulatory decisions are informed by robust evidence and aligned with best practices. This role presents a key opportunity to shape and implement policy initiatives within a dynamic and regulated environment.
What is expected of you?
- Lead the drafting, review, and development of policy documents, consultation papers, and regulatory guidelines
- Conduct thorough policy analysis to assess implications of proposed changes and emerging trends
- Ensure alignment of policy initiatives with strategic objectives and regulatory frameworks
- Lead and manage full consultation processes, including public consultations, targeted stakeholder engagements, and focus groups
- Design and manage consultation timelines to ensure transparency and inclusivity
- Analyse and synthesise consultation feedback into actionable insights and reports
- Represent the organisation in meetings and forums, clearly communicating policy positions
- Collaborate closely with research teams to integrate evidence-based findings into policy proposals
- Support thematic studies and comparative analyses to inform regulatory approaches
- Prepare concise policy briefs and internal notes for senior management and decision-makers
- Contribute to public-facing documents explaining policy changes and their rationale
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior management
What are you expected to bring?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Policy, Law, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent qualification)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in policy development, regulatory affairs, or a similar role
- Proven experience leading consultation processes, including stakeholder engagement and feedback analysis
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Familiarity with regulated sectors such as gaming or gambling is considered an asset
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and deliver under tight deadlines
