Ceek Talent is seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Executive to lead and manage the Regulatory Supervision team of our client. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing operational functions, managing financial and regulatory risk profiles, and ensuring effective collaboration across teams. What is expected of you?
- Lead, recruit, and manage the Regulatory Supervision team comprising Financial Compliance Officers, Financial Analysis Officers, and Supervisory Officers
- Ensure continuous team development through training and mentorship
- Oversee the assessment and management of licensees’ financial risk profiles and other related risks
- Propose and implement effective risk mitigation measures
- Supervise the review of financial statements, player funds reports, audits, compliance reports, and other relevant documentation
- Develop and maintain processes, policies, and procedures to meet directorate objectives
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and relevant committees
- Build strong working relationships with licensees and internal teams, ensuring clear and effective communication
- Represent the organisation in conferences and workshops as needed
- Undertake any additional duties assigned by senior management
What are you expected to bring?
- Degree in Finance or equivalent (MQF level 6 or equivalent).
- Relevant experience in regulatory functions, preferably within the gaming or financial sectors
- Professional certifications or experience in Finance, Auditing, and/or Compliance are advantageous
- Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent command of the English language with impeccable report-writing skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor, motivate, and guide a team
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Strategic thinker with ownership mentality and the ability to communicate findings clearly both verbally and in writing
- Skilled at identifying high-risk areas and sensitive issues and providing concise recommendations
