Ceek Talent is seeking a skilled and analytical Senior Research Analyst to join our client’s Research & Insight team within a regulated and evidence-driven environment. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-quality research synthesis, horizon scanning, and data analysis to support evidence-based regulation and strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will help produce impactful research outputs, monitor emerging trends, and contribute to official publications and sector overviews.
What is expected of you?
- Conduct and manage desk research, evidence reviews, and comparative analyses on gaming and related regulated sectors
- Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and quality while contributing to improvements in data collection and reporting processes
- Synthesise research findings into actionable insights that support regulatory and policy decisions
- Lead and support preparation of regulatory and statistical overviews, research reports, policy briefs, and data summaries
- Support development, analysis, and communication of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives
- Monitor sector trends, regulatory innovations, and international developments to inform strategic planning and public reporting
- Assist in scoping, commissioning, and managing external studies aligned with research priorities
- Support stakeholder consultations and feedback processes, synthesising responses into summary reports
- Prepare and present research findings for technical and non-technical audiences through reports, presentations, and briefings
What are you expected to bring?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent qualification)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in research, insights, regulatory, policy, or data-oriented roles
- Proven experience leading or contributing significantly to published research or reporting outputs
- Familiarity with gaming regulation, behavioural policy, ESG reporting, or adjacent regulated industries is an advantage
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical tools
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience drafting analytical reports and publications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly
- Strong project management and time-management skills, capable of prioritising and delivering under pressure
