What's expected of you?
- Answer and log incoming IT support and 'fix on first call' over the phone or remotely if possible.
- Manage all other incoming support emails and distribute to other departments as necessary.
- Monitor high-impact issues to ensure all relevant staff are deployed effectively.
- Purchase hardware and software following the set procedures.
- Troubleshoot issues in a systematic, analytical manner.
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
- Maintain the IT system, ensuring that all assets are recorded and updated / removed when required.
- Maintain staff accounts for email, management information system and action approved user account updates.
- Provide email support for queries relating to general IT access.
- Conduct an IT checklist for each individual site in order to proactively prevent regular or common faults.
