Our client, a leading organization in Malta, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Tax Senior Executive to play a key role in handling tax engagements and delivering high-quality tax compliance and tax advisory services to a diverse client base.
What's expected of you?
- Manage and deliver tax advisory projects (e.g. corporate structuring, cross-border planning, transfer pricing, and personal tax matters)
- Oversee the accurate and timely preparation and filing of tax returns for both corporate and individual clients in compliance with Maltese and international regulations
- Provide proactive, commercially focused tax advice tailored to clients’ business needs
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, developing and maintaining strong, long-term professional relationships
- Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities, contributing to client pitches, and assisting in the expansion of the tax client portfolio
- Review work prepared by junior team members, providing technical guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training
- Ensure compliance with global quality standards, ethical obligations, and all relevant local regulatory requirements
- Stay up to date with changes in Maltese and international tax legislation and communicate implications clearly to clients and internal teams
What are you expected to bring?
- An accounting qualification, ideally complemented by an MIT qualification
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in tax
- Strong knowledge of the Maltese income tax system, EU directives, and international tax standards
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
- Commercially minded, with the ability to deliver practical and business-focused tax solutions
