Training and Compliance Manager - Malta

Are you passionate about people development and maintaining top-tier compliance standards? Ceek Talent is looking for a Training and Compliance Manager to join a well-established and dynamic hospitality group in Malta.

This is an excellent opportunity to design, lead, and deliver impactful training programmes that enhance service excellence, promote safety culture, and drive employee growth across multiple brands and outlets.

 

What is expected of you?

  • Design, deliver, and manage brand-specific training programmes across all employee levels.
  • Develop and implement an annual training plan aligned with business needs, covering areas such as Health & Safety, HACCP, induction, and service standards.
  • Deliver and monitor safety and compliance training, ensuring adherence to legal and company regulations.
  • Conduct on-the-job coaching and re-training sessions based on observations and guest feedback.
  • Manage and enhance the onboarding and induction process to ensure consistency across all departments.
  • Monitor and report on training effectiveness through evaluations, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with HR and department heads to identify learning needs and support talent development.
  • Maintain accurate training records and handle all administrative aspects of training delivery.
  • Manage the training budget and ensure cost-effective implementation of programmes.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, development, and compliance throughout the organisation.

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in high-end restaurants or hospitality operations.
  • Strong understanding of how training impacts business performance and service excellence.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of another European language is considered an asset.
  • Relevant qualifications in training, hospitality, or compliance.
  • Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Strong time management and coaching skills.
  • Conformity to professional grooming and presentation standards.
